Bizele: Meo~w

Siams: ...I knew I’d find you here, Bizele.

Tch, even though you’d usually come crawling over to me the second you wake up...

Luca: ...You out lookin’ for him again?

Siams: This doesn’t concern you.

Bizele: Meow♪

Siams: ...The hell, man. He’s sure taken a liking to you.

Luca: He’s a friendly little guy. Are all pet cats like this?

Siams: Nah, pretty sure he’s an extreme case. Guess he just likes humans.

Well, not that he’s this way with everybody. He probably just lets his guard down around you...

Luca: Really...? He did threaten Kai, now that I think about it...

Siams: ......

Luca: Huh? Is that...

Siams: Oh, this...?

I bought it on the way here, so I brought it with me. They sell this kinda stuff around here, too.

Luca: A Lost Garden parfait, huh... Wonder what kinda flavor it is.

Bon appetit.

Siams: ......

Luca: ...Hey, this is a parfait, right?

Siams: Excuse me?

Luca: It’s just... If Kai saw this, I just know he’d say, “That’s a sundae”.

And then I would argue, “Nah, it’s a parfait” and we’d go back and forth like usual...

Siams: ......

Luca: ...Why did you bring this to me?

You’re part of Eclipse, aren’t you? Not that I’m trying to pick a fight with you or anything.

It’s just, you didn’t have any reason to save me either, so...

Siams: ...I didn’t save you.

I just happened to find you passed out when I went looking for Bizele.

He seems to like this place. Unlike the surface, the Lost Garden doesn’t get any sunlight... It’s important that cats have places to play.

...But coming here to find what looked like a corpse lying around was a little...

Luca: ...I get it.

Siams: ......

Luca: ...After that...

After Kai... was blown away with Sirius...

Jay Kidman tried to drag me back to the surface. I shook him off and went back to where Kai was.

Siams: ......

Luca: I wanted... to see for myself what happened to him...

I thought, maybe there’s a chance he’s still alive...

Maybe he’s suffering and just waiting for me to come back...

But... no matter where I looked, I couldn’t find him anywhere...

Kai is remarkable. He was forced to go along with Sirius’s plans, but he died stopping them from turning into reality…

Luca: What’s up, little guy? It’s like he’s tryna tell me somethin’...

Siams: ...Probably that he’s hungry.

Come on, Bizele. Let’s go home and get you some food.

Luca: Thank you.

Siams: For what...?

Luca: The parfait was really good.

Siams: ...Was it now...

Siams: What do you want?

Shin: “What kind of greeting is that? Not exactly a warm reception.”

Siams: And you expect too much. I can’t match your energy.

Shin: “I don’t remember asking you to, though?”

Siams: ......

Shin: “I’m coming back tomorrow.”

Siams: ...What?

Shin: “It’ll be after dusk... Actually, probably at night?”

Siams: Tomorrow, huh...

Shin: “You could be a little happier about it. Aren’t you lonely there by yourself?”

Siams: Is Sirius coming back with you?

Shin: “Nah, Sirius said he still has a few things to take care of, so he’s not coming back yet.”

Siams: I see...

Shin: “We’ve got a temporary break in our work is all. Whoops, we’re on the move.”

Siams: ......

...What, is he sleep talking?

Bizele: Meo~w

Siams: Come on, Bizele, don’t wake him up.

Luca: Ngh... Izzat you, Bizele?

Siams: Ah, shit...

Luca: Oh... Mornin’...

Siams: ...Yo.

Luca: You didn’t bring me a parfait this time, huh?

Siams: Don’t act so spoiled.

Besides, if you only eat parfaits, you’ll never fully recover.

Luca: That ain’t true. Don’t underestimate the power of parfaits.

Siams: In that case, can you get out of here already?

Luca: Huh...?

Siams: How long do you plan to stay here?

Luca: ......

You can’t just stay here forever. I’m saying you need to start thinking about your next steps.

Luca: ...I had a dream about Kai earlier.

About... the moment just before he died.

He told me that from now on, I need to live my own life. He also said that I don’t need him anymore...

I didn’t know what to do when he told me that out of the blue...

Luca: Kai has been by my side from the time we were born...No matter what we did, we did it together...

I never even considered... the possibility of living on my own, without Kai...

Luca: Not only that, but I assumed Kai felt the same. I wanted to live my life as a Hero with Kai.

...The only real difference between us twins was our health. Kai was always a lot weaker than I was.

That’s why I figured becoming a Hero would be tough for him... And I gave up pretty early on myself.

Siams: ......

Luca: I don’t think about it now, of course.

I’m sure you don’t wanna hear this from me, but...

I can’t think of a single thing I want to do... It’s not easy to just “live my life” because he said to.

Kai: “I had nothing.”

Twins are too unique. Or maybe it’s just you two...

Luca: ...I don’t know about the rest of the world, but the two of us had pretty complicated lives, so we hardly ever spent time apart.

If we had gone to school like regular kids, we probably would’ve had different classes and school work sometimes, but we didn’t even get to do that.

When we joined the military, we were told that we were stronger together, so we were always a package deal...

Siams: Oh yeah?

Luca: We were also told that our personalities were totally different from each other, but we didn’t see it that way.

In fact, we were able to understand exactly what the other was thinking...

Yeah, definitely strange. I can’t imagine being treated like a two-for-one deal around the clock from the time you were born.

What about your family...?

Siams: Good question. I had parental figures, but I tossed ‘em aside myself. I don’t have the slightest clue where they are or what they’re up to these days.

As for siblings... I think I might’ve had them, but I don’t remember anymore.

That’s just how it is for people who are raised in the Lost Garden: no different than stray cats. People having kids and babies being born was never given any fanfare.

Luca: ......

But that doesn’t mean you’ve been alone all this time, right?

You’ve never... met anyone who helped you out when you were in trouble, or treated you with kindness?

Siams: Have I met anyone...?

Luca: ...Well, I guess maybe Sirius would be that kind of person for you.

Siams: ......
